Birthday Haul!!

So a couple days ago I turned the fabulous age of 16!
I had an amazing birthday which is unusual for me which just made it even better. Was it a sweet 16? well considering the amount of sweet and chocolate that were consumed the answer is yes.

On the CD and musical front  purchased two new albums. Of Mice & Men's "Restoring Force" and You Me At Six's "Cavalier Youth". I also got two smily/frowny stickers as I have the need to cover cases in stickers...I'm not sure why.
CD's from HMV, Stickers form Pulp
Summer is on it's way so I got a new bikini, better than getting it later when all the nice designs in my size are gone. It was able to mix and match my bikini so I went with a pink and white striped bandeau and some black bottoms with a pineapple print. The top was surprisingly good, i jumped up and down a bit with it on and it stayed perfectly in place.
Top and bottoms from PINK (Victoria's Secret)
I go boarding next year which meant that I need some where to store all my makeup, and for someone who isn't very good with all that I have a lot of makeup. I bought two cases, a large one from my nail/hair/makeup and a smaller one for my toiletries. I got them in the same style because I am a fan of matching sets and consistency.
Both bags from Primark
My friends got me some framed pictures of us and Georgia drew me an amazing picture of us and I will link both her blog and youtube channel here and here!

My friends also got me a notepad (okay seriously I have more notepads than I have brain cells haha) and the book "My Future Listography: All I Hope to Do in Lists" by Lisa Nola. (Which I almost bought this one time but then wasn't allowed to so wow my friends know me well.)
Now I can plan my life and have somewhere cool to keep my YouTube Ideas!
I also received a flashing 16 badge...which I was made to wear as well as a pot of m&m and skittles, that's right, it's mixed. It's my revision motivation...which is why it's half empty...not because I've just been snacking off it or anything....
Totally a sweet sixteen
Another things I got was a bottle? I'm not sure how to describe it besides a grown-up sippy cup. But yes, it's pink and has pineapples on, the same print as my bikini bottoms. #co-ordination.

In PINK I found a pair of cropped sweat pants so I can be very active or y'know... very not. Either way I'm very comfortable for chilling or exercise.
I also bought  a top which I really liked. It says "I hate running" and is relevant to me as I'm a runner! It's light a airy so good for exercise...or lazing around in depending on my mood.

Hu...more pineapples...
A cute a light tank top which can easily be worn around the pool or at the beach, idea for slipping over your bikini. I love it as it has the same pattern as my bikini bottoms. The straps however have a bit of a weird design and can therefore be slightly complicated to put on but maybe that's just me not being very coordinated.

Uh...another pineapple item...I'm not sure how I ended up with a pineapple...maybe it's my subconscious reminding me that I am now legally allowed to buy a pineapple, in this country you have to be 16, how dumb is that! This top was from Urban Outfitters and funny story, my mum wanted to prove that she still took risks so she bought the same design but in white with a sunflower print, she didn't try it on... even I don't do that. So yes my forty something mother bought a crop top.

Everyone needs a decent pain tank top for the summer for various different reasons. Here's mine.
It's white, simple, a little see through and has straps that join together in the middle of the back meaning you can show just that little bit of bra strap. We all like to buy bras from ourselves so why not show them off a little?

I found some interesting tights. One pair with a cat design which I'd seen all over tumblr and actually really wanted a pair of and another pair with a tiger design on! Personally I love them so much because they give me an excuse to wear more dresses/heels/short short and heels, wohoo!

From Claires

These maybe my favourite earrings of all time. I found them in Claires and they are small dinosaurs and when on they look like there's a dinosaur in your ear! I think they're pretty cool.

And lastly I got a flower crown, again from Claries, which my mum on several occasions has mentioned to look pre raphaelite. Personally I just think that i look like a pretty princess, so much so that I haven't taken it off since i bought it, like now, i'm blogging and Im wearing it. I am the crown, the crown is me, we are one.

As much fun my birthday was and how much I am enjoying the holidays, however now it's back to revision for my exams as I have my GCSE's this summer and well...they're sort of important. Oh well, at least I can sleep till 10!
