I am a teenager, fifteen to be precise, naturally this means that I am still in education and will most likely be for the next seven years of my life, providing I choose to go to university.
Now as a school girl living in the UK I am very much limited as to what I can wear to school thanks to that lovely thing called uniform which most if not all schools here have.
We must abide by the dress code (however most tend to make adaptions to this such as rolling up skirts, wearing "non school" shoes and various pieces of other clothing) or else there are consequences. However on of the blissful freedoms they do allow us is how we have our hair. Most girls tend to have their preferred way of wearing it during the school day, so I decided to share with you the styles in which I often have my hair.
Okay, let's start with the more than obvious, sometimes I just do not have the time to do nice lovely things to my hair because as we all know more than well enough, getting out of bed on a morning is
very hard work and those extra minuets are precious, so I often prefer to spend them wrapped up in my duvet rather than fiddling with hair grips and hair ties so I just leave it.
On other days however I may be more adventures, this can result in my retrieving my favorite clip
(Which isn't even mine, it belongs to my mother) from the bottom of the box which contains a vast amount of hair crap, brushes, bobbles, slidie thingys etc.
I grab the remnants of my fringe
(A cringe worthy mistake made by my 12 year-old self) and some hair from the left side of my head and pull them together at the back and fasten them with my clip.
A high pony tail is always brilliant if I am in a mood with people seeing as it helps during arguments and "Strutting" off because I can walk with extra dramatic and sassiness if I have my hair swishing rhythmically behind me as I walk.
It also pulls the hair out of my face which is of course a bouns as it is terribly annoying if you're strutting off and you fall flat on your face.
It ruins this while very cool illusion you see.

At the moment this is my chosen style for school, I will wear my hair this way for approximately two weeks before moving on to something new, but until then I wear my hair in a messy bun, because it will inevitably sag so I pull it up and clip it to the top of my head. I add some hair grips to collect loose strands of hair and pin them so the look is collected and complete.

If the messy bun above isn't, what,
dramatic enough? You can always choose to wear it a little higher in a high messy bun
(for the record, I am aware that the bun looks messy, unkept and casual but that does not mean that it doesn't take fifteen attempts to get correct) like those girls on tumblr do. Just grab the hair, shove it together on the top of your head and wrap a bobble over it, usually three or four, especially if you happen to have a lot of hair such as me.
Pulling your hair directly over your head, pinning it to the back with a clip and then having your hair to the left makes your hair look big and gives it a little bit of a va va voom effect to a certain extent in my opinion.
Not really sure what is happening here, but it clipped my hair directly on top of my head, it kinda bunched and I ended up looking like a junkie.
Hmmm, not quite sure how I feel about that.
Feeling lazy but stll wan t o look presentable? then having a simple side plat will work for you seeing as it is easy and fast to do. It will keep your hair in place all day and one you take it out you will have that wonderful wave effect (even if it does only last about 20 minuets).
Of course an easy one that never seems to fail is when you decide to straighten the shit out of your hair, time and time again no matter how bad it is. We all do it and it's seems to be a fool proof method of having nice hair.
(I straighten mine so that I can twist it so I have nice waves, I dunno, it work tho)
Just don't over do it on this one, it can really damage your hair.
Hey guys I moustache you a question....
Never mind I'll shave it for later.
(Laughs at own joke because I'm so damn funny)
Gahhh hair is stressful,
bad hair days are even more stressful because
no look looks good!
Not really sure what to say about this one apart for that I get some kinda creepy "anime, Japanese school girl vibes".
No thanks, not for me.
Hahaha am have been lying to you all, I am in fact a native american. Can't you tell by the feather in my hair?
Okay, I'm lying again, it's actually a play which I clipped up backwards so the ends of my hair are above my head looking like a feather.
♫ I whip my hair back and forth
I whip my hair back and forth ♫
Okay now I'm just getting distracted.
DAMN YOU WILLOW SMITH!
So let me know how you guys tend to wear your hair to school and if you use any of the same styles that I do.
